Abstract: Vial is an outreach platform designed by the staff of the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico to share the legacy of its collection in an innovative way. The exhibition of this project took place on April 24th at the Bertita y Guillermo Martínez gallery of the Museum, and it could be appreciated around the Island thanks to the presentation of some images on electronic billboards.

Resumen: El 5 de abril de 2013 se presentó por vez primera “La Mini”, una pequeña feria de arte y diseño contemporáneo en La Productora -en la calle Cerra, en Santurce- que propuso un diálogo con otros proyectos en la escena artística del área. Su coordinador, Martín Albarrán, buscaba proveer una plataforma con posibilidades de mercadeo para los artistas participantes. Además, la iniciativa tenía intención de celebrarse más de una vez al año con diferentes artistas de dentro y fuera de Puerto Rico, buscando la integración de galerías e instituciones artísticas, para luego expandirse físicamente.
Abstract: On April 5th 2013, “La Mini” was presented for the first time. It was a small contemporary art and design fair of La Productora -at Cerra Street in Santurce-, which proposed a dialogue with other projects in the artistic scene of this area. Resumen: La galería Roberto Paradise presentó el trabajo de los artistas estadounidenses Austin Eddy y Karla Wozniak. El primero ofrece una muestra de pinturas en blanco y negro responden al tema de las emociones humanas. La segunda exhibe una serie de obras en papel de pequeño formato como parte del Trailer Park Proyects. Con este tipo de iniciativas queda clara intención de esta galaería de cultivar lazos profesionales con artistas e instituciones internacionales, al tiempo que ofrece a su público un vistazo a otras escenas artísticas lejos de Puerto Rico.
Abstract: Roberto Paradise gallery presented the work of the American artists Austin Eddy and Karla Wozniak. The first one exhibited black and white paintings that responded to the topic of the human emotions. The second one showed a series of small format artworks on paper, as part of the Trailer Park Proyects. With this type of initiatives, this gallery makes clear the intention of cultivating professional relationships with international artists and institutions, while offering their public a sneak peek to other art scenes away from Puerto Rico.
