Title: The Territory of the Soul: The Search for the Self Through the Other

Resumen: Arnaldo Roche firmó un punto y aparte en su trayectoria azul con su exhibición El territorio del alma, inaugurada en febrero de 2016. El artista concedía una entrevista en su mejor ambiente, entre sus obras, donde tímido y risueño, y como siempre honesto, repasaba algunos aspectos de su trayectoria y de su compromiso con la creación artística y con la actualidad puertorriqueñas.
Abstract: Arnaldo Roche Rabell’s February 2016 exhibition El territorio del alma [Territory of the Soul], at the Walter Otero Contemporary Art Gallery (San Juan), marked a turning point in his career as an artist, in which blue pigment often played a key role. We took the opportunity to meet Roche Rabell in his element: surrounded by his paintings. The artist welcomed us with a broad smile and his hands still smudged with paint stains. We knew that was the perfect moment to interview him.
