Resumen: Santurce es Ley llega a su sexta edición y con ella se busca una vuelta a los inicios del festival, con el fin de rescatar su esencia. La intención es la de crear un arte como motor para una reconstrucción alternativa del país desde la autogestión, motivados por las necesidades del entorno y de la gente. 

Abstract: Santurce es Ley reaches its sixth edition, inviting to go back to the beginning of the festival, with the purpose of rescuing its essence. The intention is to create art as an engine for an alternative reconstruction of the country through self-administration, motivated by the needs of people and the environment.

Abstract: Santurce es Ley reaches its sixth edition and with it a return to the beginning of the festival, with the purpose of rescuing its essence, which is that of art as an engine for an alternative reconstruction of the country from self-management, with the needs of the environment and people as cardinal motivation.

Vial: ¿sacar las obras del museo?

Resumen: Vial es una plataforma de difusión diseñada por el personal de Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico para compartir el legado de su colección de forma innovadora. La muestra de este proyecto tuvo lugar el 24 de abril en la galería Bertita y Guillermo Martínez del Museo y se extendió alrededor de la Isla a través de la presentación de algunas imágenes en vallas electrónicas de tipo billboard.

Abstract: Vial is an outreach platform designed by the staff of the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico to share the legacy of its collection in an innovative way. The exhibition of this project took place on April 24th at the Bertita y Guillermo Martínez gallery of the Museum, and it could be appreciated around the Island thanks to the presentation of some images on electronic billboards.

Al rescate de lo público en Santurce

Resumen: Entre el 5 al 7 de abril de 2013 se celebró, por cuarta ocasión, “Santurce es Ley”, el festival de arte urbano en San Juan. En él se convocó a artistas, tanto locales como internacionales, a someter sus trabajos y propuestas, fomentando la autogestión. En el evento público, los estratos sociales se desplazaron hasta formar un mosaico donde cada pieza llega con su propio bagaje e intereses muy particulares.

Abstract: For the fourth time, from the 5th to the 7th of April, 2013, the urban art festival “Santurce es Ley”, was held in San Juan. Both local and international artists were invited to submit their work and proposals, encouraging self-management. In the public event, the social strata moved to form a mosaic where each element arrives with its own baggage and very particular interests.
