Resumen: En la muestra Prometheus, Absence of Light, el artista puertorriqueño Emanuel Torres utiliza la intensidad
de los colores, la fuerza de los trazos y la abstracción de las formas para narrar su propia versión del mito griego de
Prometeo, basada en la realidad de la resiliencia, el acecho de la muerte y la búsqueda de la luz. La exhibición se llevó a
cabo en la Galería David Kline, en Michigan.
Abstract: In the exhibition Prometheus, Absence of Light, Puerto Rican artist Emanuel Torres uses the intensity of colors,
the strength of his brushstrokes, and the abstraction of forms to narrate his own version of the Greek myth of Prometheus,
based on the reality of resilience, the looming presence of death, and the search for light. The exhibition was held at the
David Kline Gallery in Michigan.
