Resumen: Hace veinticinco años que se creó el Tótem telúrico, una de las obras más emblemáticas del arte puertorriqueño del siglo XX. Con motivo de su aniversario, su autor, Jaime Suárez, habla sobre las opiniones y mitos surgidos en torno a tan significativa pieza, además de comentar sobre su ejecución e inauguración, así como las problemáticas que giran acerca de su futura conservación.
Abstract: Tótem telúrico [Telluric Totem], one of the most emblematic works of Puerto Rican art of the 20th century, was created twenty-five years ago. On the occasion of this anniversary, the artist, Jaime Suárez, talks about the opinions and myths that have arisen around such a significant artpiece. He also makes comments on the opening ceremony for the artwork, and the problems around its future conservation.
