Resumen:<\/strong> A trav\u00e9s del documental multimedia Retiro<\/em>, la artista Natalia Lasalle explora el universo de la vejez desde una mirada \u00edntima y po\u00e9tica. El proyecto se exhibi\u00f3 dentro de una residencia cercana a la localidad de crianza de la artista, en el municipio de Bayam\u00f3n, y estuvo protagonizado por un grupo de mujeres que narran sus recuerdos y las experiencias de su vida, sin olvidar sus reflexiones sobre la muerte. En medio de la precariedad en que vive buena parte de la ancianidad en Puerto Rico, este proyecto es estremecedor por partida doble.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong> Through the multimedia documentary Retiro [Retirement]<\/em>, artist Natalia Lasalle explores the universe of old age from an intimate and poetic gaze. The project was exhibited inside a residence near the artist\u2019s hometown, in the municipality of Bayam\u00f3n, and was led by a group of women who narrate the memories and experiences of their lives, not forgetting their reflections on death. In the midst of the precariousness in which a good part of the elderly lives in Puerto Rico, this project is twice shocking.<\/span><\/p>\n
