Texto completo \/ Full text<\/span><\/strong> T\u00edtulo: <\/b>Museo Tibes: un encuentro cercano<\/span> Autor: <\/b>Carlos Mart\u00ednez Palmer<\/span> Resumen: <\/b>La exposici\u00f3n permanente del Museo Arqueol\u00f3gico de Tibes tuvo una profunda transformaci\u00f3n en 1989. De una muestra de car\u00e1cter objetual se pas\u00f3 a otra con un mayor \u00e9nfasis conceptual, cuyos principales objetivos consistieron en ofrecer tanto un contexto adecuado a las piezas expuestas como una necesaria conexi\u00f3n entre pasado y presente. Con ello, se persegu\u00eda la identificaci\u00f3n del puertorrique\u00f1o actual con sus antepasados ind\u00edgenas a trav\u00e9s de una serie de actividades y acciones cotidianas comunes, empleando diversos recursos museogr\u00e1ficos que ayudaran a sus visitantes a comprender el verdadero alcance de esos nexos. Casi tres d\u00e9cadas despu\u00e9s, su \u201cmetadiscurso\u201d de afirmaci\u00f3n nacional mantiene su vigencia.<\/span><\/p>\n Abstaract<\/b>: The permanent exhibition at the Archaeological Museum of Tibes underwent a profound transformation in 1989. From an object-based exhibition, it moved to another with a greater conceptual emphasis, the main objectives of which were to offer both an adequate context to the exhibited pieces and a necessary connection between past and present. With this transformation, the identification of the present Puerto Rican people with indigenous ancestors was intended through a series of activities and common daily actions, using various museum resources that help visitors to understand the true scope of these inks.
