Titulado <em>Muros sobre muros<\/em>, en \u00e9l ha continuado explorando las m\u00faltiples posibilidades expresivas del concreto a trav\u00e9s de la estampaci\u00f3n de numerosos fragmentos de madera contrachapada sobre la pared, los cuales reproducen una serie de formas inspiradas en la arquitectura militar de la antigua ciudad amurallada. Junto a ello, ha incorporado otros dise\u00f1os con claras reminiscencias prehisp\u00e1nicas, otorgando a la obra distintas lecturas estratigr\u00e1ficas vinculadas al lugar donde se ubica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 120%;\"><strong>Abstract:<\/strong> In 2016, three murals made by Jaime Su\u00e1rez in Paseo Puerta de Tierra, at the islet of San Juan, were inaugurated. They were made with three of his architecture students from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. With the title <em>Muros sobre muros [Walls over Walls]<\/em>, he has continued exploring the multiple expressive possibilities of concrete, printing numerous fragments of plywood on the wall, that reproduce a series of forms inspired by the military architecture of the old walled city.
