A pesar de hab\u00e9rsele presentado oportunidades que no todos los artistas de su generaci\u00f3n tuvieron, la \u00e9poca en que vivi\u00f3 estuvo marcada por la guerra y otros conflictos econ\u00f3micos y sociales. Interesado en el arte desde ni\u00f1o, Dobal se vio acompa\u00f1ado en sus a\u00f1os escolares y universitarios por prominentes figuras de las artes visuales y la literatura. Siendo as\u00ed, al acercarnos a esta primera etapa de su desarrollo art\u00edstico obtenemos un atisbo de la escena art\u00edstica en el Puerto Rico de la d\u00e9cada de 1930.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 120%; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Abstract:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 120%;\">Narciso Dobal\u2019s artistic training was, like his work, very unconventional. Despite he had opportunities that not all artists of his generation could aspire to had, the time he lived in was marked by war and other economic and social conflicts. Interested in art since childhood, Dobal was accompanied in his school and university years by prominent figures in the visual arts and literature.
