Resumen:<\/strong> En celebraci\u00f3n de los 60 a\u00f1os que el Ballets de San Juan cumplir\u00eda en 2014, el artista Jaime Su\u00e1rez convoc\u00f3 a sus colegas ceramistas a crear una flota de arcilla en la Fuente del Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce. Ante la respuesta de un grupo nutrido de artistas, los eventos de la instalaci\u00f3n de los barquillos el 15 de diciembre de 2013 constituyen una narrativa amena que resalta el compa\u00f1erismo y la uni\u00f3n de esfuerzos por un bien com\u00fan que, como efecto colateral, ha insuflado un aliento renovador al medio de la cer\u00e1mica en Puerto Rico.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong> In celebration of the 60th anniversary of Ballets de San Juan in 2014, the artist Jaime Su\u00e1rez summoned his fellow ceramists to create a fleet of clay in the Fountain of the Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce. Given the response of a large group of artists, the events of the installation of the wafers on December 15, 2013, constitute a pleasant narrative that highlights the companionship and the union of efforts for a common good that, as a collateral effect, has insufflated a breath of renewal into the ceramic medium in Puerto Rico.<\/span><\/p>\n
