A trav\u00e9s de tres claves determinantes \u2014la amistad que un\u00eda a ambos autores, el hecho de que el artista conoc\u00eda la identidad sexual del poeta y el car\u00e1cter er\u00f3tico del poema\u2014 Jos\u00e9 Correa Vigier propone una intepretaci\u00f3n de car\u00e1cter cuir a este grabado, lejos de la tradicional connotaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica con la que se ha le\u00eddo hasta ahora.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 120%; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b>Abstract<\/b>: <em>Unicorn on the Island<\/em> was created in 1965, and it is one of the most recognized prints by Puerto Rican artist Lorenzo Homar. Its title is homonymous to one of Tom\u00e1s Blanco\u2019s poem, a prominent poet and narrator of the generation of the 1930s in Puerto Rico.
