Resumen:<\/strong> Los artistas Norma Vila y Julio Lugo Rivas reflexionan sobre la sociedad y la econom\u00eda puertorrique\u00f1a a partir de la convocatoria de Saltando Muros, una exposici\u00f3n que convoca artistas iberoamericanos con el prop\u00f3sito de exaltar las posibilidades de la fotograf\u00eda como herramienta de cambio social en manos de artistas emergentes. El regreso<\/em> y Maratonistas de calle<\/em>, los proyectos ganadores, representan a Puerto Rico en una exhibici\u00f3n internacional que cuenta tambi\u00e9n con pa\u00edses como Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Ecuador, M\u00e9xico, Per\u00fa, Rep\u00fablica Dominicana y Uruguay.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong> The artists Norma Vila and Julio Lugo Rivas reflect on Puerto Rican society and economy from the call for Saltando Muros, an exhibition that brings together Ibero-American artists with the purpose of praising the possibilities of photography as a tool of social change in the hands of emerging artists. El regreso [The Return]<\/em> and Maratonistas de calle [Street Marathon Runners]<\/em>, the winning projects, represent Puerto Rican art in an international exhibition including artists from countries like Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, M\u00e9xico, Per\u00fa, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay.<\/span><\/p>\n
