Resumen:<\/strong> La exposici\u00f3n Reto<\/em>, curada por Elsa Mar\u00eda Mel\u00e9ndez, conmemora los 100 a\u00f1os de la Casa Amarilla Dra. Concha Mel\u00e9ndez, sede del Museo de Arte de Caguas y el bicentenario del Gobierno Municipal de Caguas. A trav\u00e9s de material hist\u00f3rico como documentos, fotograf\u00edas y planos de edificios ic\u00f3nicos de la ciudad, se narra el devenir del pueblo a la vez que se entabla un di\u00e1logo entre historia e imagen a trav\u00e9s de pinturas, esculturas, instalaciones y artesan\u00edas pertenecientes en su mayor\u00eda a las instituciones culturales de Caguas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong> The exhibition Challenge (Reto)<\/em>, curated by Elsa Mar\u00eda Mel\u00e9ndez, commemorates the 100 years of the Casa Amarilla Dr. Concha Mel\u00e9ndez, home of the Caguas Museum of Art and the 200 years of the Caguas Municipal Government. <\/span>The history of the town is narrated <\/span>through materials such as documents, photographs and plans of iconic buildings of the city, opening a dialogue between history and image through paintings, sculptures, installations and crafts, most of them in the collection of cultural institutions of Caguas.<\/span><\/p>\n
