A trav\u00e9s de fotograf\u00edas y videoperformances, F\u00e9lix desmantela el discurso narrativo de la que se conoce como la primera pel\u00edcula sonora puertorrique\u00f1a, titulada igual que su proyecto. La artista nos invita a reflexionar sobre las representaciones de los puertorrique\u00f1os en los medios visuales, desde el cine y la internet como espacio p\u00fablico de exhibici\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 120%; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b>Abstract<\/b>: M\u00f3nica F\u00e9lix\u2019s most recent project is a digital exhibition called <em>Romance Tropical<\/em>, on which she started working seven years ago. Using photography and videoperformance, F\u00e9lix deconstructs the narrative discourse of the first Puerto Rican sound film, titled the same as her project.
