Resumen:<\/strong> La exhibici\u00f3n Basura<\/em>, del artista Nick Quijano, abri\u00f3 sus puertas en el Museo de Las Am\u00e9ricas, San Juan, el 6 de diciembre de 2012. Esta contiene m\u00e1s de cien obras, entre ellas ensamblaje, instalaci\u00f3n, pintura y fotograf\u00eda realizadas a lo largo de tres d\u00e9cadas de la carrera del artista, en su mayor\u00eda utilizando desperdicios encontrados en la Playa Cascajo de La Perla.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong> Basura<\/em> [Trash<\/em>], an exhibition by artist Nick Quijano, opened doors in The Museo de Las Am\u00e9ricas (Museum of The Americas), San Juan, on December 6, 2012. Basura<\/em> shows more than one hundred artworks, including assemblage, painting and photography, made over three decades of the artist\u2019s career, using, in most cases, waste material found in Cascajo Beach, in La Perla.<\/span><\/p>\n
