Resumen<\/b>: Las im\u00e1genes aleg\u00f3ricas de las virtudes y de los vicios experimentaron un particular desarrollo a lo largo de la Plena Edad Media en Europa occidental, dando lugar a las representaciones propias de los primeros siglos de la Baja Edad Media. Partiendo de la definici\u00f3n de su concepto y de las fuentes literarias que contribuyen a configurar su representaci\u00f3n, su evoluci\u00f3n se evidencia fundamentalmente en la pervivencia de ciertos atributos o s\u00edmbolos a lo largo de su desarrollo, que incluso pervivir\u00e1n hasta el siglo XXI. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Abstract<\/b>: Allegorical images of virtues and vices developed throughout the High Middle Ages in Western Europe, giving rise to the typical representations of the first centuries of the Late Middle Ages. Starting from the definition of the concept and the literary sources that configure their representation, their evolution is fundamentally evidenced in the survival of certain attributes or symbols throughout its development, which will even survive until the 21st century.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
