A trav\u00e9s de diversas o m\u00faltiples identidades (transnacionales, h\u00edbridas y m\u00f3viles), configuradas en forma de autorretratos, Cruz comparte sus pensamientos sobre la decolonialidad, revisando discursos hist\u00f3ricos hegem\u00f3nicos, en los que ha predominado la mirada del poder y con el que se han creado estigmas y estereotipos sobre el cuerpo negro, sobre la mujer y su invisibilidad.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 120%; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b>Abstract<\/b>: Brenda Cruz reflects on <em>Portrait of a (De)Colonized Woman<\/em>, a photographic series which aims to rewrite hegemonic history and rethink the national colonial past, in order to raise awareness to a population that was victim of exclusion and oppression.
