Complet\u00f3 su Bachillerato en Filosof\u00eda, Maestr\u00eda en Historia de Arte y Licenciatura en Museolog\u00eda en la Universidad Nacional de Tokyo. Obtuvo una beca del gobierno de Austria para la investigaci\u00f3n doctoral en la Universidad de Viena y complet\u00f3 su doctorado en Historia del CEAPRC. Desde 2007 labora en Caribbean University como Directora del Museo de Arte y Coordinadora de la Maestr\u00eda en Artes en Educaci\u00f3n, con Especialidad en Museolog\u00eda. Es Vicepresidenta de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Museos de Puerto Rico y miembro de la Academia de Artes y Ciencias de Puerto Rico. Adem\u00e1s, ha fungido como Presidenta de AICA en Puerto Rico, Vicepresidenta del Museum Association of the Caribbean y Directora del Museo de Arte de Ponce.
