Wonder Bread Hill

Wonder Bread Hill is a political thriller based on the most explosive event in recent Puerto Rican history: the murder of two young radicals on Cerro Maravilla (Wonder Hill) and the trial that ensued.

Richard Marx Weinraub, a professor at the University of Puerto Rico, has transformed the tragedy into a work of poetic fiction through a form he invented: the sonovella (a novella written in sonnets), heightening the history into a kind of mass opera.
